Arag alive bahamas oolite11/29/2023 ![]() I would set up a qt, but would need a pretty big one to house six fish (29gallons maybe? with plenty of pvc for hiding). Stress should be nonexistent, if maybe minimal so there shouldn't be any losses. While the ich will still be in the system, I figure these are small fish and have plenty of room and hiding places to call home. and plan to be here for another 18months tops. Let me know what you guys think of this for a plan:Īdd the randalls goby and other gecko goby and nothing else for the time being. ![]() Today I noticed visible signs of ich, not good. I just really really really want to do everything I can to prevent any aggression amongst the gecko gobies. Do the gecko gobies have to be introduced at the same time? Since I will need to remove all the rock work to catch these guys I was thinking of introducing the tiny randall and one gecko and then waiting to introduce the second gecko (unless they have to be introduced together). The randall is only about an inch and a half long and the gecko gobies are maybe two and a half inches long. My question is: when should I add the remaining three fish that I have at home? Three days ago the watchmen was taken out (after being in there for about a week - week and a half) and the two b&w ocellaris clowns were added. That leaves me with the randall's goby and two gecko gobies to add (from what I have here). We already traded in the watchman and are going to do the same with the six-line wrasse (I want flasher wrasse and I guess they don't get along, that and the six-line eats all the copepods and we also want a mandarin goby.) Here here it is after the water cleared up.Īdded a damsel and some live rock to get things going Put some caulk around the bottom edge to keep water from getting under the tank. Found the door knobs locally and had the fan rings machined out of brass. I put a tooled leather fabric (looks and feels real) on the cabinet doors and around the hood. ![]() Turned out great after stripping, sanding and staining it. Here's the tank with the dry rock in it for mortaring.Īs mentioned before, the stand needed much tlc. aquavitro "salinity" reef salt (great stuff)Įverything has been purchased except for the ato. 80lbs marco rocks (50lbs key largo & 30lbs shelf rock) 80lbs caribsea arag-alive bahamas oolite new 150w hqi phoenix hexarc blue 14k x2 Everything checked out when we picked up the tank except for the stand's cosmetic appearance. Got approval from the lady and off I went. Recently I found a 75gallon acrylic with stand, hood, coralife aqualight pro and a redsea berlin skimmer. and have been doing well for years without incident :bounce1: Both have various inverts, soft coral and frogspawn, hammer, etc. In the 15 we have a six-line wrasse, randall's goby and a gecko goby. In the 14 we have an b&w ocellaris clown, yellow watchman goby and a gecko goby. We currently have a 14gal biocube and 15gal seaclear hex.
